On the morning of February 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

After that, the Prime Minister of Armenia called the statement of the General Staff calling for his resignation an attempt at a military coup.

The conflict between the military and Pashinyan led to protests in Yerevan, in the capital of the country, rallies were held by both supporters and opponents of the head of government.
