Leipzig (dpa) - RB Leipzig avoided a mistake in the title race of the Bundesliga thanks to a catch-up.
The pursuer of the front runner FC Bayern turned the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday evening and celebrated the fifth league win in a row with 3: 2 (0: 2).
This means that the gap to Munich is only two points.
Jonas Hofmann (6th minute / penalty kick) and Marcus Thuram (19th) gave Gladbach half-time lead.
Thanks to Christopher Nkunku (57th), Yussuf Poulsen (66th) and Alexander Sörloth (90th + 3), RB prevailed.
Gladbach has been waiting for a success in the Bundesliga for five games and is further behind the European Cup places.
