International aid to Guinea to eradicate Covid-19 and the Ebola hemorrhagic epidemic is continuing.

But to cope, President Condé has decided to strengthen measures to defeat these two viruses that are rampant in the country.

Hand washing, wearing a mask compulsory throughout the country, presenting a negative test before leaving Conakry for the interior of the country ... These are some measures taken by the Head of State to try to counter the virus that resurfaced in Guinea.

He indicated that the positivity rate increased from 2 to 8% and that the occupancy rate of the intensive care units increased to 50%.

"

All of this is due to a relaxation of barrier and health security measures,

" explained Alpha Condé, who asks his government to implement new, more restrictive measures to prevent the spread of the disease.

The security services were requisitioned and called upon to enforce these sanitary measures which, failing that, exposes any offender to a penalty of 50,000 Guinean francs.

In the administration and private companies, taking temperature, wearing a mask and washing hands are mandatory in offices and meeting rooms.

In the capital, filter dams have been put in place and the sanitary arrangements in force at Conakry airport are maintained.

The curfew runs from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
