Bochum (AP) - VfL Bochum is again the front runner in the 2nd Bundesliga.
On Saturday, the team of coach Thomas Reis won 3-0 (1-0) against the bottom of the table Würzburger Kickers.
Robert Zulj (21st minute), Danny Blum (62nd) and Gerrit Holtmann (81st) made the victory perfect.
With 45 points from 23 games, VfL is leader of the table at least until Monday.
Then Hamburger SV can overtake FC St. Pauli with a victory in the city derby.
The Bochum team rehabilitated themselves against again committed Würzburg thanks to strong efficiency for the 0-1 last weekend at Erzgebirge Aue.
The 1-0 was preceded by a serious defensive mistake by the Franks.
