Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - After a balcony fire on a residential building in Stuttgart, hundreds of thousands of euros were damaged.
The residents were unharmed.
As the police announced on Saturday, however, a cat died.
Residents noticed a fire on the balcony on Friday evening and notified the fire brigade.
Upon arrival, the fire had already spread to the attic.
Four residents fled the house, three other people were freed by the fire brigade.
According to the fire brigade, the emergency services also saved two dogs and four cats.
The fire brigade prevented the flames from spreading to neighboring buildings.
The cause of fire was unclear for the moment.
