A wild sheep was found in an Australian forest of thick and heavy wool that it covered, weighing 35 kilograms, as it had its first mowing operation 5 years ago.

And the sheep "Barrack" was found in a forest in Victoria state, where it was transported to an animal shelter north of Melbourne, according to what was reported in early February on Facebook by the association that cared for it.

Pam Ahern, founder of the Edgards Farm Sanctuary Mission, told Nine News that she did not believe "that there really is a sheep living under all this wool."

She explained that "Barak" was "a little lamb that lost its way and never returned," which is why its wool was not sheared for about 5 years.

Sheep are supposed to be sheared at least once a year in order to ensure their comfort, otherwise it is difficult for them to survive, especially in Australia, where the summer is hot and dry.

However, "Barack" did not achieve the world record set by his compatriot, "Chris", who died, as the latter made headlines in 2015 when he cut his wool, which weighed about 41 kilograms.

However, "Barack" compensated for his suffering with his fame, as his video clip attracted more than 2.5 million views on the "TikTok" network.
