US intelligence has ruled that Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman "approved an operation in Instabul, Turkey, to capture or kill Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi".

This is what we read in the declassified report today, in the aftermath of the conversation between US President Joe Biden and Saudi King Salman.



According to the reconstruction of American analysts, Mohammed bin Salman saw dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi as a threat to the kingdom and widely supported the use of violence if necessary to silence him.




The intelligence report lists 21 people who the 007 Americans consider with "high confidence" to be complicit in or responsible for the dissident journalist's death on behalf of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
