Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - Coach Lukas Kwasniok sees the game of 1. FC Saarbrücken at SC Verl as a “big chance” with the same points and can get closer to the top positions with a win.
Verl had inflicted the first defeat of the season on Saarbrücken on the seventh match day.
Most recently, the Saarlanders defeated TSV 1860 Munich 2-1 in the alternative venue Völklingen.
The personnel situation for Kwasniok has eased somewhat.
"With the victories, the injured also return," said the 39-year-old on Friday.
Only Marin Sverko (torn muscle fiber), Bjarne Thoelke (fibula fracture) and Timm Golley (stomach problems) are missing.
