Today (26th) morning, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security released employment data for 2020.
The data shows that the employment situation in 2020 is improving quarter by quarter, generally stable and better than expected.
In the whole year, 11.86 million new jobs were created in urban areas, exceeding the annual target tasks. The urban surveyed unemployment rate dropped quarter by quarter. It was 5.2% in December and the annual average was 5.6%, which was lower than the expected control target.
