Regensburg (AP) - SSV Jahn Regensburg has to do without coach Mersad Selimbegovic for a short time this Friday evening (6.30 p.m.) in the home game against SC Paderborn.
As the second division soccer team from Upper Palatinate announced shortly before the game, Selimbegovic was “tested positive for the corona virus in the regular PCR rule testing”.
The 38-year-old is symptom-free and is already in domestic isolation.
According to Jahn, the game is not endangered after consultation with the responsible health authority and the German Football League.
"All other members of the coaching and supervisory staff as well as all players in the team have tested negative," said the Regensburg team.
Only Selimbegovic had to isolate himself.
