Bamberg (dpa) - Brose Bamberg has swapped home rights in the Champions League with CEZ Nymburk due to the corona-related entry ban from the Czech Republic.

As the former German basketball series champion announced on Friday, the Upper Franconians will initially compete in Nymburk on Tuesday (6.30 p.m.).

The second leg should take place on March 30th in Bamberg.

"If an entry ban from the Czech Republic still applies at this time, the game must be played in a different location," it said.

The federal government has declared the Czech Republic to be a so-called virus variant area.

A negative corona test is required upon entry.

«After entering the country, another PCR test must be carried out within 5 days.

Self-isolation is mandatory until the negative test result is received, ”it says.

Therefore, the Bundesliga game against s.Oliver Würzburg planned for March 6th has to be postponed.
