Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The value for new corona infections within a week has increased significantly in NRW.
After 60.9 on Wednesday, it was 64.3 on Thursday, as the Robert Koch Institute announced in the morning.
Most recently, on the morning of February 10, the RKI reported a higher seven-day incidence of new corona infections at 67.1.
The value provides information about the number of reported new infections with the virus within a week based on 100,000 inhabitants.
The aim is to achieve a value below 35. Then politicians want to relax the previous corona restrictions.
The number of new infections within one day was according to the information in North Rhine-Westphalia at 2,673, the authorities were aware of 75 more deaths in connection with the virus.
This increased the number of corona deaths in the state to 12,875 people.

Solingen remains particularly badly affected within NRW.
There the incidence value rose to 133.1, according to the State Health Center NRW.
The Märkische Kreis (118.0) and the District of Düren (100.1) were also above 100.
The lowest value was also reported from Münster (30.1).
