In Russia, 11,198 cases of coronavirus were detected per day

This was announced by the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus.

In 24 hours, 446 patients with COVID-19 died in Russia, during the entire pandemic - 84,876.

Another 16,102 patients were cured of the coronavirus.

The total number of COVID-19 patients has reached 3,767,664. 

The day before, 11,749 cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia, 383 people died, 12,218 recovered.

Earlier, the doctor of medical sciences, immunologist, specialist in especially dangerous infections, Vladislav Zhemchugov, expressed the opinion that a new wave of coronavirus in Moscow is no longer possible.

Also, the head of the department of the Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Gamaleya Center, Professor Alexander Butenko, in an interview with URA.RU, assessed the prospects for creating a vaccine against all variants of coronavirus.
