Halle (AP) - The SV Union Halle-Neustadt has strengthened itself for the coming season of the handball Bundesliga.

The 19-year-old backcourt player Julia Niewiadomska comes from league competitor HSG Bensheim / Auerbach and receives a two-year contract that applies to both the first and second Bundesliga.

The club announced on Thursday.

«I am happy that she has chosen us.

She is a young and athletic player who fits very well into our concept.

She has continued to develop in the past few years and I hope that she can continue this positive trend with us, ”said Katrin Welter, who will be in the coaching bench of SV Union Halle-Neustadt for the next game year.
