Leverkusen (AP) - In the fight for a place in the round of 16 of the Europa League, Bayer Leverkusen's captain Charles Aranguiz will be used for the first time in the current competition.

The Chilean, who missed the entire preliminary round due to injury and was spared the 3: 4 in the second round first leg at Young Boys Bern after many appearances, is in the starting line-up for the second leg against the Swiss.

In view of the formation, it is unclear whether coach Peter Bosz will start with a three-way defensive chain as in the second half in Bern or whether a regular winger like Jeremie Frimpong or Leon Bailey will start on eight alongside Florian Wirtz.

In Bern, the coach Gerardo Seoane, apparently courted by Borussia Mönchengladbach, relies on the same starting eleven as a week ago, including long-time Herthan Fabian Lustenberger as head of defense.
