Leverkusen (dpa / lnw) - Actually, Bayer Leverkusen only needs one win - regardless of the amount - against Young Boys Bern to reach the second round of the Europa League.

But that's harder than it sounds.

For one thing, Bayer only won two of the past twelve competitive games before today's second round match.

Second, the Swiss champions and cup winners showed how strong they are with a 4: 3 first leg.

Especially on the offensive.

It's normally very strong at the Leverkusen team, but it's bumpy at the moment.

There are also weaknesses on the defensive.

Despite his mistake at 1: 1 in Augsburg, Niklas Lomb will be in goal, as regular goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky will be out for a while due to his Achilles tendon injury.

For Bayer, the Europa League is the last chance to win the longed-for first title since 1993 this season after the embarrassing cup-out at Rot-Weiss Essen in the Europa League.
