Los Angeles (AP) - US actor Dwayne Johnson receives an award for his social commitment.
The “Hollywood Critics Association” (HCA) will present the 48-year-old former wrestler with the Trailblazer Award.
"Dwayne Johnson embodies everything that our Trailblazer Award stands for," said HCA chairman Scott Menzel, according to industry magazine "Hollywood Reporter".
The reason given was that Johnson was committed to many important things in the world.
He “uses his voice to do good at a time when it is most needed”.

Among other things, Johnson has supported the Black Lives Matter movement and donated to aid workers during the pandemic.
The award ceremony will take place online on March 5th.
