Stuttgart (dpa) - The number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week has risen again slightly in the southwest.

The so-called seven-day incidence was according to the Baden-Württemberg State Health Office on Thursday (as of 4 p.m.) at 48.8.

On Wednesday the incidence was 47.6, on Tuesday 45.5, Monday 44.8, and Sunday 44.0.

19 urban and rural districts are above the limit of 50 reported cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Broken down at the district level, the district of Schwäbisch Hall continues to have by far the highest seven-day incidence at 144.8.

The State Health Office reported 1,109 new corona infections, the number of all cases in the southwest since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 314,605. The number of deaths who died with or from Sars-CoV-2 rose by 38 to 8038. 293 are considered recovered 105 people.
