Bad Ems (dpa / lrs) - Building despite Corona: In 2020, the Rhineland-Palatinate construction industry posted more sales.

They rose by 6.3 percent last year compared to 2019, as the State Statistical Office in Bad Ems announced on Thursday.

For example, revenues only increased in residential construction by 19.1 percent, while in road construction they fell by 3.2 percent.

Incoming orders for the entire construction industry in 2020 were calendar and seasonally adjusted 0.9 percent above the level of the previous year.

In December 2020, business picked up even more than in November 2020: construction revenues increased by 9.8 percent, incoming orders by 14 percent.
