China News Service, February 24. According to Kyodo News Agency, France’s Aide Auctions has announced that the late fashion designer Kenzo Takada left about 600 pieces of art, furniture and his own paintings at his home in Paris. It will be auctioned on May 11.

  Kenzo Takada died in Paris, France in October 2020 from new coronary pneumonia.

According to reports, his relics include the luxurious chandelier in the living room of the apartment in Paris Saint-Germain area where he lived in his later years, and Takata's own paintings.

  Stéphane Aubert, who is in charge of the auction at Aide Auctions, said, “The collection of Kenzo Takada reflects the vision of a talented creator who perfectly integrates various cultures. The auction will be the last opportunity to pay tribute to this colorful artist.”

  Kenzo Takada was born in Japan in February 1939, moved to France in 1965, and began to develop in the fashion industry.

He founded his own brand KENZO, which is internationally renowned for its colorful designs.

In October 2020, he died in a hospital on the outskirts of Paris from the new crown virus at the age of 81.
