On Monday, former US President Barack Obama revealed, on Monday in a podcast with singer Bruce Springsteen, his attack on a schoolmate after calling him the racist term "negro" for being of African descent.
"When I was in school, I had a friend, and we used to play basketball together," Obama said during his meeting with Bruce on their "Rebels" radio program. "One time we had a fight and they called me a nigger."
Last year, I sat down with my good friend Bruce @Springsteen for a long and meaningful conversation that touched on so much of what we're all dealing with these days.
I'm excited to share it with you over the next few weeks: https://t.co/sQACD08AWx pic.twitter.com/biMoxCLhAG

He added that he attacked his colleague and hit him in the face and nose, then told him there are no "Negroes" in Hawaii, and I can hurt you after you said this.
Obama went on to say he remembers beating a colleague hard in the face and smashing his nose when they were in the changing room.
And the former president had revealed in a video clip that he had started recording a podcast with the American singer Springsteen in several episodes during the coming period.
