Fujairah Municipality closed 23 violating facilities during the past year

During the past year, the Fujairah Municipality closed 23 violating establishments and issued 1457 warnings and a violation represented in non-compliance with the proper preservation of foodstuffs, failure to adhere to the display method and temperatures, and the violation of some precautionary measures to prevent Covid 19.

The municipality stated that it continues its inspection campaigns through specialized inspection teams, as the Public Services and Environment Department in the municipality, represented by the Public Health Department, and in cooperation with the Follow-up and Inspection Office during the past year, carried out inspection tours on food and health stores amounting to 35,749 establishments in various regions of the Emirate of Fujairah, including the markets.
