February 24, 2021 At least 11 people were killed in a new attack in the North Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, attributed to fighters from the Allied Democratic Forces. Local media reported this, underlining that it took place late yesterday evening in Kisima.
Most of the victims were shot dead.
It is the same region where the Italian ambassador Luca Attanasio, the carabiniere Vittorio Iacovacci and the local driver Mustapha Milambo Baguna were killed.
