Reuters quoted US President Joe Biden as saying that he had seen the CIA report on the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and it is expected to be published on Thursday.

Biden told reporters at the White House that he expected to soon hold a phone call with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Earlier, White House spokeswoman Jean Saki expected the American report on the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the country's consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, to be declassified soon, in October 2018.

The American spokeswoman pointed out that the publication of the report on the killing of Khashoggi would not be pre-empted by talking about measures that may be taken after it is declassified.

At the same time, she indicated that US President Joe Biden will soon speak with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and that contact will be limited to them only.

Sacchi said that the call will cover several topics without giving information about its content.
