Khachatryan was awarded the title of National Hero of Armenia during the hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, discussed the exchange of prisoners between Yerevan and Baku, as well as the search for missing persons.
