Until a week ago, the curve over the number of admitted covid patients steadily decreased.
But since then, the trend seems to have reversed.
One week ago, eight patients needed inpatient care, two of them in the intensive care unit.
Now, a single week later, the figure is much higher.
20 covid patients need hospital care, of which four people need intensive care.
- We are lower than when we had very many covid patients, but we see a clear increase, unfortunately.
We are probably right at the beginning of the third wave now, says Jan Smedjegård.
Increase in the number of confirmed cases
