Flensburg (AP) - A man who is said to have stabbed another man with a kitchen knife after a scramble has to answer for manslaughter before the regional court in Flensburg from Tuesday onwards.

The now 36-year-old is said to have stabbed a 44-year-old several times with a knife in Handewitt near Flensburg on September 2, 2020.

One of the stitches is said to have fatally pierced the heart.

Shortly before, the defendant is said to have learned from his former partner that she was now with the 44-year-old.

This new relationship is said to have been the reason for the separation from the accused.

The two men were said to have been friends before.

Seven days of negotiations are initially planned for the process.
