It is noted that after that he fled the scene.
“The driver was detained, a previously convicted man, born in 1983, arrived from the Irkutsk region, at the time of the accident he was in a state of alcoholic intoxication,” Gankina wrote on her Facebook.
The victims died from injuries at the scene of the accident.
The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Buryatia reported that on suspicion of committing this crime, police officers detained a 37-year-old man who, according to preliminary data, had stolen a car from his relative shortly before the road traffic accident.
