A fully 3D printed farm has just been built in Florida (United States), a first in the country.
The American company Printed Farms called on a specialist Danish company to build this 71-square-meter agricultural room, reports

To carry out this project, a machine 2.5 meters long, 15 meters wide and 10 meters high was used.
Thanks to this type of printing, the layers of concrete constituting the building were gradually juxtaposed one above the other, until the final result.
Other projects of this type could see the light of day
A time-lapse video showing the gradual construction of the farm was posted on social media by the company.
The building is up to standards and has been validated by an engineer.
Florida could have to resort more to this technique because the American state is regularly subjected to bad weather.
With the technique used in this project, Printed Farms could standardize 3D printing.
Individual houses could also be created in the long term.
However, the company is waiting for the authorizations to start these projects.
