The largest arms trade fair in the Middle East was held in the UAE = United Arab Emirates, with the first participation of an Israeli company that agreed to normalize diplomatic relations with the UAE, and the two countries are also deepening their ties in the arms market.

The trade fair begins on the 21st in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, and is attended by companies handling weapons from about 60 countries.

This year, an Israeli company exhibited for the first time after the UAE agreed to normalize diplomatic relations with Israel, which had been in conflict for the first time in 26 years as an Arab country.

At the booth of the Israeli company, automatic rifles and drones were exhibited, and many UAE military personnel visited and received explanations from company personnel.

An Israeli man from the company said, "I just opened an office in the UAE two months after the normalization of diplomatic relations, so I would like to develop customers."

In addition, some UAE companies handle Israeli products, and the two countries are also deepening their ties in the weapons market.

However, the participation of Israelis was limited because Israel restricted travel abroad due to the effects of the new coronavirus.

The UAE wants to deepen its relationship with Israel, which has one of the world's leading military technologies, and strengthen its own military power, with Iran, which is strengthening its influence in the region, in mind.
