The PP in Madrid has launched

a campaign to collect signatures

to support the Security Forces and Bodies, after the riots caused by the imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasel, who last Tuesday entered prison for crimes of glorifying terrorism and insults to the crown.

The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, and the general secretary of the PP in the Community of Madrid, Ana Camíns, have been among the first to sign this morning

in the informational tents

that the PP has installed in Puerta del Sol.

"The Security Forces defend us and

now we have to defend them,"

said Camíns, when presenting the campaign that will be extended to all the districts and municipalities of the Community of Madrid.

"What is a democratic abnormality is that from the Popular Party we have to launch a campaign to collect signatures because

there is a part of the Government that is attacking

and questioning our State Security Forces," said the general secretary of the Madrid PP .

Camíns has criticized that the Vice President of the Government,

Pablo Iglesias, "is justifying the street riots

, this organized street terrorism. This is not, Mr. Iglesias, a democratic normality," he added.

Ayuso congratulates Franco

For her part, the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso,

wanted to personally congratulate the Government delegate

in the region, José Manuel Franco, because the National Police managed to "contain the outbreaks of violence" last night in the center of the capital.

"I have not always understood myself with him, everyone knows it, but when

things are done well you

have to recognize it," said the leader of the PP in his first public recognition of the representative of the PSOE.

At the same time, he has once again strongly condemned the riots that have been registered in Catalonia for five consecutive days, mainly in the city of Barcelona: "It is very hard to see

merchants and neighbors kidnapped from their homes,

while children and also criminals with all hair they burn streets, throw cobblestones, break the furniture and also their shops. With the bad things that are happening right now in Spain because of everything that Covid-19 has caused, it is very hard that we have to see these images. "

Ayuso has also reiterated that the vice president of the central executive, Pablo Iglesias, "should not stay another minute" in his post

"for putting into question Spanish democracy

and for cheering and encouraging these violent people who only cause evil" .

"It is the President of the Government who has to put him out of the institutions because he is

a danger to our coexistence

, because every time there is a terrorist or revolutionary movement there are always the last names of Podemos behind it," he added.
