Kassel (dpa / lhe) - In Kassel, a warehouse of a gardening and landscaping company is on fire.
The adjacent houses have been evacuated, the police said.
Around 30 people were brought from their homes to safety on Sunday morning.
Because of the heavy smoke development, the police asked residents in the Rothenditmold district to keep doors and windows closed.
The fire brigade was on site with a large contingent, it said.
At first there were no injuries.
Among other things, diesel is also stored in the warehouse.
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage were unclear on Sunday morning.
