Dortmund (dpa / lhe) - Damn fast legs - and what a biceps!

Kevin Kranz and Michael Pohl, the two sprinters from Wetzlar, radiantly tensed their upper arm muscles at the indoor championships for track and field athletes after the 60 meter final.

The duo had a good laugh on Saturday in Dortmund, especially Kranz: The 22-year-old set Julian Reus' German record with a victory time of 6.52 seconds.

«I absolutely didn't expect that time.

I expected it to be faster than the last few competitions, but not this time, ”said Kranz.

At least temporarily, he also sat at the top of the European leaderboard.

His club colleague Pohl finished third behind Julian Wagner (Erfurt / 6.59) in 6.60 seconds - also a personal best.

"At the European Indoor Championships, my goal is the final," said the 31-year-old 100 meter champion from 2019 with a view to the title fights from March 4th to 7th in Poland.

Kranz won the open-air title in 2018 and was indoor champion in 2019, but was then thwarted by Pfeiffer's glandular fever.

After a change in diet, motorcycle fans can now go full throttle again on the track.
