Flensburg (dpa / lno) - The series is torn: After 44 victories in a row, the handball players of SG Flensburg-Handewitt have to accept another point loss in a Bundesliga home game.

Against TBV Lemgo-Lippe, it was only enough to make a 27:27 (14:12) remis on Sunday.

The best throwers at the table leaders were Johannes Golla and Magnus Röd with six goals each.

Lukas Zerbe scored seven goals for the guests.

From the beginning, the East Westphalia were an uncomfortable opponent who could not be left behind.

A few seconds before the break whistle, Marcel Timm missed the chance to make it 13:13.

Instead, Golla scored the goal in return for the 14:12 halftime score.

Even after the break, Lemgo remained snappy.

Ex-Flensburg's Dani Baijens gave the guests a 21:18 lead (45th), who consistently bet on the seventh field player.

At 25:25 (56th) the SG had equalized again, but it was no longer enough to win and continue the series.
