Dresden (dpa / sn) - The volleyball players of the Dresdner SC have continued their series of success.

Coach Alexander Waibl's team defeated VC Wiesbaden 3-0 (25:23, 25:20, 25:20) in their own hall.

With this, the Elbe cities celebrated their twelfth win in a row and have not been displaced from second place on the last three days of the Bundesliga main round.

In the first set, the front runner initially ensured clear relationships with an 11: 4 lead.

But the guests from Hessen fought their way up with powerful serves and good block and field defense.

Until the end, both teams gave each other nothing, a service error by Wiesbaden ended this round in favor of the host.

Christian Sossenheimer's team also gave the favorite a courageous fight in sets two and three, especially in defense, but the Dresden women prevailed in the end thanks to their greater individual quality.

Maja Storck once again proved to be the host's most successful point collector with 15 points.
