Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - In the fight against illegal car races, the police in Dortmund checked more than 200 tuned vehicles and around 500 people on Saturday night.
The police said that the officials had issued 76 reprimands against the "people who apparently belonged to the speeder, poser and illegal tuning scene", wrote 18 reports and imposed 24 fines.
Four vehicles and two driver's licenses were also seized.
Even on Sunday night, the police want to intensify controls again.
In Dortmund there are always illegal races, high levels of noise pollution and considerable traffic hazards.
