Würzburg (dpa / lby) - The quarantine among the basketball players of the Bundesliga club s.Oliver Würzburg has ended.

As the Lower Franconia announced on Friday, all PCR and rapid tests of the past ten days have turned out negative.

Therefore, the Würzburg health department ended the isolation of players and coaches on Thursday.

Accordingly, normal training and match operations are permitted again in compliance with the BBL hygiene rules.

After a positive corona test in a Würzburger, the health department ordered a so-called cohort quarantine for a total of 15 coaches and players until February 22nd.

This meant that players and coaches were only allowed to stay in their own apartment or in the training center and commute between these locations.

According to the information, the quarantine could now be lifted after ten days because of the consistently negative test results.

Three of the club's games had to be postponed.

Two of the games have now been rescheduled: The home game of the 17th matchday against the Giessen 46ers will be rescheduled on Wednesday (7:00 p.m.), the away game of the 18th matchday at MBC in Weißenfels on March 9th (8:30 p.m.).

A new schedule for the home game of the 19th matchday against Ludwigsburg has not yet been determined.
