Turkish Minister of Industry, Mustafa Warank, today congratulated the United Arab Emirates on its success in the mission of the Hope Probe, stressing that every new discovery in space would increase international cooperation, to serve the interests of world peace.
The Minister of State for Advanced Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Space Agency, Sarah Bint Yousef Al-Amiri, responded to the Turkish minister, stressing that space exploration will always be a way to build bridges and enhance our collective human understanding.
The Turkish Minister of Industry, Mustafa Warank, said in a tweet on «Twitter» that the success of the United Arab Emirates in the mission of the Hope Probe, in which it has invested for a long time, deserves all appreciation and congratulations, adding that every new discovery in space will increase international cooperation, to serve Interests of world peace.
For her part, Sarah Al-Amiri responded to the Turkish minister, thanking the UAE for his success in the mission of the Hope Probe.
Al-Amiri said that space exploration will always be a way to build bridges and enhance our collective human understanding, wishing Turkey a successful discovery journey towards the moon in 2023, which will increase the region's contribution to space exploration.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said last week that his country aims to reach the moon for the first time in 2023 as part of its national space program.
He added that the first landing on the moon will be done by a national missile, which is expected to be launched at the end of 2023.
On the other hand, Sarah Al-Amiri said, "I thank Time magazine for being included in the list of the 100 most influential people in the future, and this is an appreciation that I accept on behalf of the members of the Emirates Mission to explore Mars, and many of them deserve this honor more than me."
