These are the sentences decided by the Court of Turin at the trial on the revenge porn case (at the time of the facts not yet a crime in Italy, it has been a crime since August 2019), which has as its protagonist a kindergarten teacher from Turin.
The woman, according to the reconstruction of the prosecutor, was forced to resign from her post after the dissemination of some sexual images that she had sent to her boyfriend of the time.
The latter had shared them with his soccer companions, including the father of a child enrolled in the kindergarten where the victim taught.
To end up in the dock, the head teacher of the kindergarten who, after having learned of the images, would have forced the teacher to resign, and the mother of the child of the kindergarten, wife of the ex-boyfriend's soccer partner (quest 'last in the meantime has obtained the test), which would have spread the erotic contents.
The prosecutor Chiara Canepa had asked for a sentence of 14 months for the director of the institute and 12 months for the mother of the child arguing, in particular, that the director "forced her to leave kindergarten in front of the other teachers" and later "he informed some parents that the girl was the protagonist of porn videos".
In short, the father of the pupil and husband of the accused woman was acquitted, while another teacher was sentenced to 8 months for violation of privacy.
"It is an important sentence because it undoubtedly also has social implications".
Thus Dario Cutaia, one of the defenders of the kindergarten teacher forced to leave his job after the ex-boyfriend in a chat had released risqué photos without his knowledge.
"No one person and much less women - adds the lawyer - must be judged, and it is hoped that this is an important piece to prove it, for what they do in their own underwear, in the bedroom".
"If one is good and capable he must be evaluated for that, scarlet letters no longer exist", he concludes.
"I am satisfied with this sentence and that after years the truth has come out, even if I do not feel compensated on a personal level", commented the teacher, victim of revenge porn, after the sentences inflicted on the head of the school, on a colleague teacher and a pupil's mother.
"I haven't found a job yet but my goal is to go back to teaching in a kindergarten - he added - I don't feel a grudge, it's not I who have to forgive them, I get up in the morning and have a clear conscience. This story has been told all too well. , without many details, I can accept an apology but I don't do anything about it ".
