In a Cabinet Office poll on foreign affairs, about 80% said they "don't think it's good" about their relationship with China.

The Cabinet Office conducts an annual poll to understand the public awareness of diplomacy. Last year, from October to December, it targeted 3,000 men and women aged 18 and over nationwide, from 1865, or 62%. I got an answer.



According to this, regarding relations with China,


▽ "I think it's good" was 17%, while


▽ "I don't think it's good" was 82%.



Since this survey was conducted by mail due to the influence of the new coronavirus, "I don't think it's good" increased by 6 points compared to the previous survey, although simple comparison is not possible.


Regarding

relations with South Korea,

▽ "I think it's good" increased by 9 points from the previous time to 17%, and


▽ "I don't think it's good" decreased by 6 points from the previous time to 82%.

On the other hand,


regarding

relations with the United States,

▽ "I think it is good" was 86%, and


▽ "I do not think it is good" was 13%.



A person in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs analyzed that "China is affected by the situation around the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, and South Korea is affected by the issue of comfort women."
