Kajsa Mellbrand believes that a lot depends on how spring and summer turn out when it comes to ticks.

Drought is bad for ticks, but good for humans and animals.

If it is dry, ticks are placed lower in the vegetation and thus do not reach in the same way.

In any case, it is clear that this year's tick season will be shortened with the winter weather.

- Last year you could get a tick if you were out walking in January or February.

You do not get it in the same way on a winter like this, says Kajsa Mellbrand.
