Bad Langensalza (dpa / lnw) - The handball players of the Thuringian HC have prominently strengthened themselves for the coming Bundesliga season: Goalkeeper Rinka Duijndam is switching from the current front-runner Borussia Dortmund to THC.

The 23-year-old has so far completed 36 appearances for the Dutch national team and won the 2019 World Cup in Japan with Oranje.

"I am pleased that she has decided on the THC," commented coach Herbert Müller on the transfer in a club announcement.

«She is one of my dream players.

I am impressed by their motivation. "

Duijndam will take over the position of the Norwegian Marie Skurtveit Davidsen in the Thuringian team, who will switch to the Romanian Champions League representative CSM Bucharest after two seasons for the THC in the summer.
