The Turkish Minister of Industry, Mustafa Warank, yesterday congratulated the United Arab Emirates on the success of the "Hope Probe" in entering its orbit around Mars, stressing that every new discovery in space would increase international cooperation to serve the interests of world peace.

The Minister of State for Advanced Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Space Agency, Sarah Bint Youssef Al-Amiri, in response to the Turkish minister in a tweet on her Twitter account, confirmed that space exploration will always be a way to build bridges and enhance our collective human understanding.

The Turkish Minister of Industry, Mustafa Warank, said in a tweet on "Twitter", that the success of the United Arab Emirates in the mission of "The Hope Probe", in which it has invested for a long time, deserves all appreciation and congratulations, adding that every new discovery in space will increase International cooperation, to serve the interests of world peace.

For her part, Sarah Al-Amiri replied to the Turkish minister, thanking the UAE for his success in the "Hope Probe" mission.

Al-Amiri said, "Thank you, Warranque ... We also believe that space exploration has always been a way to build bridges and enhance collective human understanding."

She expressed her hope for the success of Turkey's mission to the moon in 2023, and stressed that it would increase the region's contribution to space exploration.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said last week that his country aims to reach the moon for the first time in 2023, as part of its national space program.

He added that the first landing on the moon will be done by a national missile, which is expected to be launched at the end of 2023.

On the other hand, Sarah Al-Amiri said, "I thank Time magazine for being included in the list of the 100 most influential figures in the future, and this is an appreciation that I accept on behalf of the members of the Emirates Mission to explore Mars, and many of them deserve this honor more than me."

The international media had continued its interest in the first image taken by the "Hope Probe" of Mars, which constitutes the beginning of a series of valuable data and new scientific information that the probe will send over a full Martian year, equivalent to 687 days on the Earth calendar, and it monitors the atmosphere of Mars in an integrated manner. It puts the qualitative data it collects at the service of the global scientific community.

The image sent by the probe has spread to various global media outlets, digital platforms and news agencies over the past few days, as part of a comprehensive and continuous follow-up of the various stages of the Emirates Mars Exploration Project, highlighting its scientific goals, and praising the position the UAE is achieving in the space exploration sector and related industries with it.
