Erfurt (dpa / th) - With a slight relaxation of the rules, a new corona regulation to extend the lockdown will come into force in Thuringia this Friday (00.00 a.m.).

Among other things, it provides for the strict contact restrictions to be largely maintained, and many shops, bars and restaurants must also remain closed.

The regulation is to apply until March 15 and also contains some innovations.

Primary schools and kindergartens should be able to start again in restricted regular operations from Monday.

From March 1, the fifth and sixth grades are expected to return to schools.

Higher grades can attend classroom instruction if there are stable fewer than 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days in their districts.

With the regulation, driving school lessons including exams will be possible again.

Hairdressers can reopen from March 1st, as can garden centers and horticultural companies.
