Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens) has warned of high expectations in the new, comprehensive range of corona rapid tests.

“The supply is now greater than the demand.

We won't have unlimited access to the tests, because you have to be able to pay for them, ”he told the Stuttgarter Zeitung and the Stuttgarter Nachrichten (Friday).

The tests should primarily be used by people who, for example, look after relatives at home or are in frequent contact with others - such as cashiers or bus drivers, said Kretschmann, who is the Green's top candidate for the state election.

He was annoyed about the delays in the payment of the so-called November aid for the companies affected by the lockdown: "The federal government apparently didn't get it done any faster."

This is a good example of “what happens when a central state regulates things”.

He named maintaining lively city centers as the online trade continues to grow as an urgent problem.
