Villarreal (dpa) - TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has another corona case with defender Stefan Posch after a long break.

The 23-year-old Austrian international tested positive against Molde FK from Norway before the Europa League game on Thursday (9 p.m. / Nitro and DAZN), according to the Bundesliga club.

The game takes place in the stadium of the Spanish club FC Villarreal due to travel restrictions.

Posch immediately went into quarantine and is now at home, according to the Hoffenheim company.

An additional testing of the team did not result in any further positive cases.

The professional currently shows no symptoms.

In November, seven Kraichgauer players tested positive for the virus: Sargis Adamyan, Kevin Vogt, Sebastian Rudy, Ishak Belfodil, Robert Skov, Munas Dabbur and Jacob Bruun Larsen.

Andrej Kramaric and Kasim Adams were infected while traveling for international matches in October, and the Croatian striker was out for weeks.

In addition, Pavel Kaderabek was in quarantine because of a family case.
