Military doctor Han Ziwei remembered that after Qi Fabao was rescued, his left forehead was ruptured and there was an opening more than ten centimeters long.

Chen Hongjun, Chen Xiangrong, and Xiao Siyuan fought bravely without fear until their heroic sacrifice.

In 1997, Qi Fabao, who graduated from high school, signed up to join the army and applied to the organization with the scores of the "first place in the military subject examination" of the new barracks: to go to the plateau and to the front line of struggle.
In 2009, Chen Hongjun graduated from a local university. He had passed the public security special police recruitment examination, but he heard that he temporarily "changed his mind" when he wanted to conscript, and finally entered the fiery barracks.
After 2016, the young Xiao Siyuan, Wang Zhuoran and Chen Xiangrong also stepped onto the border one after another.
Over the past year, countless young people like them have made the same choice.
Going up to the plateau is because of ideals, staying in high principles tests faith.
The first thing they have to overcome is the inability to get rid of the high cold and lack of oxygen, the full range of desert glaciers, the long winter closure of mountains, and the resulting remote and desolate time and space...
In such an environment, they must always be vigilant and ready to step forward and thwart all attempts to invade Chinese territory.
The officers and soldiers said that the baptism of wind and snow, the test of life and death is like a super filter, enough to filter out all the glitz in your heart, and in the end only the clear love for this land is left.

In 1950, more than 130 officers and soldiers of the advance company, led by party branch secretary Li Disan, sacrificed 63 people's tragic and strong, planted the five-star red flag on the plateau of northern Tibet.
Back then, when Li Disan was seriously ill, he implored the party branch not to give him any more drugs and leave the last penicillin to other comrades... 70 years later, when faced with the torrential torrent, the 23-year-old Wang Zhuoran also chose to leave his hope of life. Comrades in arms.
That day, Wang Zhuoran and his comrade Ma Ming waited to cross the river overnight to reinforce the front line. Someone was washed away by the rapids during the fourth trip to the river. Wang Zhuoran and Ma Ming tried their best to push the three comrades ashore, but they were so cold that they almost lost consciousness.
Suddenly, Wang Zhuoran got stuck in the seam of the underwater boulder with one foot.
At the critical moment, he slammed Ma Ming to the shore: "You go first, if I die, take care of my old lady!" Ma Ming was rescued, and Wang Zhuoran fell forever in the piercing torrent.
A heroic collective must be a united collective.
Looking back on the battle that night, the officers and soldiers were tearful telling stories of life and death, and sacrificed their lives to protect each other——
Seeing that Qi Fabao was seriously injured and fell to the ground, battalion commander Chen Hongjun immediately led the officers and soldiers into the "stone rain" and "stick formation" to rescue the regiment leader.
Hearing someone shouting "The battalion commander was besieged", Chen Xiangrong rushed to meet his opponent, and protected the battalion commander with his body and the smashed shield.
Finding that there were still comrades under siege, Xiao Siyuan rushed forward again, desperately rescuing his comrades, using his body to shield his comrades from the attacks of stones and sticks.
"The regimental commander is at the forefront to block foreign troops, and the battalion commander saves the regimental commander, the soldier rescues the battalion commander, and the squad leader rescues the soldiers."
