Ministers of the four countries are trying to change the situation in the Indo-Pacific region through force or coercion. Is said to have gathered intent to strongly oppose any attempt by China.

State Department spokesman Ned Price said "We discussed the response to misinformation, counter-terrorism, maritime security, and the urgent need to restore a democratically elected government in Myanmar."

We also reaffirmed our commitment to hold at least once a year ministerial-level quad meetings, and decided to strengthen high-level and working-level cooperation.

The US-led quad has a strong character to keep China in check.
