It is proposed to equate digital currency taxation with property taxation.
“Citizens (including foreigners with a residence permit in Russia and permanently residing in its territory), as well as organizations (including branches and representative offices of foreign companies established in Russia) that have the right to dispose of digital currency will be required to report to the tax authorities on such a right, turnover of funds and balance, if the amount for the year in terms of rubles exceeds 600 thousand, ”the message says.
The procedure for determining the market price of digital currency will be established by the Federal Tax Service.
