Potsdam (dpa / bb) - In Brandenburg, vaccinations with the preparation from Astrazeneca begin on Wednesday.
Since the vaccine is recommended for people under the age of 65, nurses and employees in medical facilities should first receive a vaccination offer.
According to the Ministry of Health, several vaccination lanes have been set up in each of the eleven vaccination centers in the country.
A special number is available for scheduling appointments.
Call center employees should now call care facilities specifically and inform them about the vaccination offer with Astrazeneca.
Brandenburg has so far received 21,600 vaccine doses from Astrazeneca, and the same amount is expected again on Thursday.
According to a delivery overview by the Federal Ministry of Health, a total of 170 400 vaccine doses by the manufacturer are to be delivered by April 1.
